HR-approved things to try next time you feel the pressure at work:





Take a deep breath: Deep breathing will help slow your heart rate and help you focus your attention inward. 


Use your break for a walkSometimes, literally walking away for a few minutes can help us clear our minds and return refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the day.


Get up and stretch: Try to spend a few minutes stretching every hour. Stand up, move around, and get your blood flowing. (Bonus points for striking a tree pose.)


Talk to a co-worker: when we socialize, we feel distracted and supported. A win-win, if you ask us. Plus, chances are, your coworkers are dealing with many of the same stressors you are.
