What’s the texture like?
What flavors do you notice? (Was somebody a little heavy-handed with the cumin again?)
What do you notice about your body?
What’s your hunger like before you begin to eat?
What does chewing, tasting and swallowing feel like?
Are you checking in with your hunger? When do you notice that you’re feeling satisfied?
What do you notice inside your brain?
What emotions are you feeling at the beginning of your meal?
What emotions do you feel when you decide what to eat?
How do you feel when you begin to eat?
What memories do you have tied to these foods? (Where were you when you tried Uncle Paolo’s German chocolate cake for the first time?)
What emotions do you feel when you’re all done eating?
