Simple kids recipes



Ingredients:

  • 2 – 3 bananas, mashed until oatmeal consistency

  • 1 large apple, chopped into bite-size pieces

  • 1 teaspoon or more raw tahini (sesame seed paste)

  • Small amount water to loosen consistency

Directions:

  1. 1. Add tahini to mashed bananas and thoroughly mix.

  2. 2. Add bite-size apple pieces to banana-tahini mixture until coated.

  3. 3. Variation: Add small amount of water for looser consistency.



Ingredients:

  • 3 medium zucchinis, spiralized in a Spiral Slicer or Spirooli

  • 1 cup macadamia nuts

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 2 scallions chopped

  • 1 stalk celery (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

  • 1 clove garlic (optional)

  • grape tomatoes

Directions:

  1. 1. Blend all sauce ingredients not including tomatoes.

  2. 2. Pour over spiralized zucchini.

  3. 3. Then slice the zucchini from side-to-side to prevent abnormally long strands.

  4. 4. Top with grape tomatoes to make a design.

  5. 5. Mix in and serve.

Variation: Add one red pepper chopped for Red Pepper Cheese Sauce.
